Long story. I have purchased five rugs from AllModern previous to this purchase. One of them was a slightly smaller version of the one I am reviewing now. All of them were (and are) perfect. I did also order a carpet pad for one. That pad smelled like some critter had snuck in and peed on it. No way to prove that with a pic. No problem, they took my word for it and refunded me immediately. This rug is a 9x12 version of the 8x10 we had previously bought and loved. The 9x12 just wasn’t quite up to the quality of the 8x10. The pile was not quite as high in spots, which caused the sculpting feature of this rug to slightly pale in comparison to the smaller rug. No problem. AllModern sent us another one, gratis.
