The bed looks exactly how I thought it would look and I love the look. The feel of the wood is a bit rougher than expected but definitely solid wood, which I wanted. There was some damage on the frame from the installers or already there before it was put together. Excellent quality- I put it together myself and it went fine. The hardest part was lifting the extremely heavy boxes up the stairs by myself! The headboard weighs a lot but the other parts of the bed I was able to bring up individually to make it easier. Assembly took a half hour or so, bed is very sturdy and most importantly, no squeaking! I went back and forth between getting white boucle or the brown but I like the brown.
