Fantastic experience and product. Quality of the lamp is great. The matte finish on the metal & milk-white glass are both good; there were no scratches. The base is weighted & sturdy. Very easy to put together (one person can assemble it in 10 minutes or less) and packaging was properly done too. I used a LED 8.5W bulb (soft white) and the lamp illuminates the area with a soft glow. Be sure to check the measurements of the glass part of the lamp to ensure it will work for your space/design. It is a very beautiful, modern lamp. It is a little bigger than it looked in the pictures, but it is great in a bigger room. I am not giving it 5 stars because mine arrived damaged.
