Ratings: 3.5 by human and 5.0 by two rescue cats. I *thought* that this was a well designed knockoff of more expensive chairs with a similar style. It is an OK knockoff. Knew before purchasing based on reviews that this chair isn't a big, cozy, curl up, and fall-asleep-in chair. The seating area of the chair has a smaller scale which works well for smaller people to sit comfortably upright. Pros: comfortable, solid build, 300 lb weight capacity, commercial warranty, quality covering, stitching, and screw on legs. Cons: scale is "off", the back is super thick (compared to arms and seat) and doesn't curve in as expected, both the seat and back filling make "crunchy" sounds when pressed/pushed. Note: If you are thinking of purchasing the grey color (like I did), the chair that I received is a slate grey not a dark grey as shown in the pictures. If you have a passion for beautiful proportions with respect to furniture, I do not recommend this chair. Impressed! Ive never order a chair without having previously sat in it. My husband had a hip replacement and we wanted a recliner for his recovery. The sizing is minimal compaired to most that are big and overstuffed. Styling is great for contemporary and transitional setting. This chair is comfy in the upright position, as well as reclined. The fabric is a bit firm but to be expected from an all polyester. The tweed like patterning helps it meld into most color pallets. This chair was packed well and easy to put together. Like other reviews, the pre-dilled holes in wood leg supports don't match up, if you follow the directions and how they are labeled. They just need to be oppositely flipped.
