Hoping this review will be helpful for others since the Q&A on this page is a little confusing: This is a daybed not a sleeper, so this means there’s nothing to pull out or convert here. BUT you could remove the backrests and the pillows and absolutely put a sheet on it to use it as a flat sleeping surface! The backrests are completely separate pieces from the pillows and nothing is attached so everything is flexible. I will say the Chickerell is definitely on the firmer side so if you’re planning to have guests sleep on it a soft mattress topper would be good. The couch looks great and the material is high quality. I got the darker grey color and it has a subtle brown to it which worked great for my space.
