It looks nice, but there are some things to note, this is why I rated 3 stars. First thing The assembly instructions are terrible, none of the screws are identified correctly in the instructions sheet. To help others, I’ve marked up the sheet so you know what screws go where. Also, the back of the cabinet is where the wood strip is. It would have been helpful for the instructions to indicate that. Second I knew this going into it, It’s not real walnut, more a particle board painted(), but it looks quite nice and can pass for real wood. Third the cost is frankly too high for what you get. If it was half the cost, that would be more in line with the value. All that said, they are sturdy and look really nice. I do not regret the purchase at all, it’s just on the pricey side and the instructions were super frustrating. I have a very odd spot in my apartment and this desk was the perfect fit. Sometimes it's difficult to find things with just the right dimensions but this desk was spot on. It is functional, and holds a lot and it is cheap, relatively speaking. But it is also wobbly and does not look or feel anything like real wood. The brackets are thin, one of the shelves also had a problem with the edge, but nothing major, just put it as a lowest one. Took 20 min to put together on my own.. Yehudit.
