The fabric is a bit firm but to be expected from an all polyester. The tweed like patterning helps it meld into most color pallets. This chair was packed well and easy to put together. Like other reviews, the pre-dilled holes in wood leg supports don't match up, if you follow the directions and how they are labeled. They just need to be oppositely flipped. It came nicely delivered in a protective box, was easy to unwrap and very minimal set-up, just need to attach the sofa feet. It has a comfortable sit to it.
