So happy with this dresser. Solid hardwood, extremely sturdy and extremely heavy. If you’re a single female homeowner like me be prepared: with Covid delivery people aren’t entering houses and this thing comes as one solid piece, the only assembly is screwing on the feet and cross bar. The dresser is a beautiful piece but my problem with is that it arrived damaged. At this price point where is the Quality Control Waiting for feedback from Customer Service. I upgraded my rating due to the fact that customer service contacted me and resent a dresser that was replacement for the initial unit. Happy with my purchase! This is a very sturdy piece. I was pleasantly surprised by the richness and depth of the wood stain/coloring, something I had worried about as the online photos had a lot of variance. The black and brass details are subtle and very well done. There were a few edges where the stain was thin, but I was able to fix those immediately with a furniture marker. What an amazing dresser! It arrived fully assembled and in one (very heavy) box- for this reason I recommend doorway delivery if possible. The design is sleek and the whole of the dresser is made of heavy quality wood. It is a perfect accessory to the rest of the set including the night stands and the bed. The drawers slide fluidly but don't "slam" when you close them. They are all equally flush when closed fully. The handles are also metal- these come wrapped and protected out of the box.
