Very solid piece of furniture! The box was a little beat up, but the furniture was so securely packed that there was no chance it would be damaged (the packaging itself probably weighed 20 lbs!). I ordered it at 11:30pm on Wednesday and it was delivered by midday that Friday--awesome! My husband assembled it by himself one evening. He just needed my help standing it upright at the end. These bookcases are absolutely THE BOMB. Downsizing our home has been incredibly stressful and making room for my books and dedicated library has not been fun.
