The screws for the lower cross-bars did not align with the holes, and they were nearly impossible to screw in with a Philips head screwdriver that wasn’t supplied. I received the beige set, and both chairs were level once on the floor. However, when I opened the box, it was obvious that for one item, the legs had been removed from the cardboard travel box, and the bolt/washer/felt pad pack was opened, and all the washers were strewn about the large box. Ended up returning. The chairs are comfortable but not great for dining and we needed these for a dining room. The seat back is far back so you have to sit up to eat, the seat back is lower than expected so there isn't much support, and the legs are flimsy.
