I "think" it will be a good addition. Its gorgeous to look at and very comfortable. The foam they used to make it with is off gassing an irritating chemical. I really love this couch! It's a beautiful beige color and soft to the touch. It's very deep and low, so keep that in mind. You want to pair this couch with a low/eye-level TV if possible. My TV has to sit high above my mantle, so I use a throw pillow behind my head, otherwise the back of the couch isn't high enough for you to lean back.
