The bed looks exactly how I thought it would look and I love the look. The feel of the wood is a bit rougher than expected but definitely solid wood, which I wanted. There was some damage on the frame from the installers or already there before it was put together. Didn’t inspect each piece as it came out of the box but inspected the bed when it was put together and saw the crack. Happy with my purchase but would like some answers about the crack.. Wendy. Excellent quality- I put it together myself and it went fine. The hardest part was lifting the extremely heavy boxes up the stairs by myself! The headboard weighs a lot but the other parts of the bed I was able to bring up individually to make it easier. Assembly took a half hour or so, bed is very sturdy and most importantly, no squeaking! I went back and forth between getting white boucle or the brown but I like the brown.
