These stools are perfect! Straight lines, wonderfully comfy seat, easy to wipe clean, light weight, bar for foot rest. I’ve ordered around 15 barstools til I found these, which worked perfectly for me. I have an island where I place barstools on both sides. So I wanted stools with a back, but also wanted to be able to push the stool under the lip of table so I could still do food prep on side of island by the kitchen counters. These worked!! I ordered 3 colors. The charcoal , honey, and the darker brown (forgot the name). The honey was just a tad too orange when placed with my wooden island. But loved that color, and would have been great with a white Island/bar/countertop. My island uses 4 stools on each side. And I thought black would actually look the best. So as a DIY I purchased Angelus leather preparer & then Angelus black acrylic leather paint and did a tester on 2 stools! What’s $125 for a set of 2 stools if they didn’t work. But it worked perfectly! I’m undecided at this time but most likely plan on painting them all black.
