The chair sits much deeper than other dining chairs I've had. The pictures on the site are not a good representation of the chair color. I chose brown and it looks like gray brown, or driftwood. I am keeping the chair because while I noticed the color was off immediately I did not realize how deep the seat is until we assembled and it can only be returned in it's original packaging.
