Really pleased with the color and visibility of the pattern in monotone. I was worried it would be darker or more brown but it is a true mustard. Nice thickness and weight makes it comfortable and allows it to unpack and lie flat easily. Have noticed quite a bit of shedding but that seems to be normal in the beginning for these wool rugs. I previously had a 10x13 synthetic rug in this spot. Between moves across the state and two senior corgis, it barely lasted two years. Decided to invest in a better quality rug and am so glad we did. It really adds visual interest to the space and the quality is much higher than I expected. I did chose to use a rug pad under it for extra cushion and to prevent slippage. Only complaint is that it sheds quite a bit in the black area. Hoping that will subside over time with some vacuuming and use. Other than that one thing, I am very happy with this purchase!. Julia.
