Inspired by the revolution that moved us from hand production methods to machines, and drove new manufacturing processes and iron production, this fan marks a major turning point in industrial style and design.
Its a very nice fan. A little noisy when its on high but I suppose its due to the the metal cutting through the air. The con is that Minka-Aire is not a straight forward universal ceiling fan with light type of product. It is difficult to find the coordinating pieces. Not all lighting kits work and not all Minka-Aire lighting kits work. Not all remote controls or wall mounted controls work nor Minka-Aire products. Has to be specific to the fan. It turned out to be quite a chore, not to mention expense, to get it just right. I like the fan, just not the trouble. I think this will be my last Minka-Aire purchase. . alfredo. Fan looks good and is very quiet which is nice but I'm a little concerned... We had electricians install it & they said there's no way to control the light/fan with a switch. You can install a switch, which we did, but it only remembers the last setting you had it on with the remote so it gets all out of sync, and we've been walking into a dark room until we can find the remote. We will probably install the remote holder by the light switch too. The electricians also said that when the fan motor dies, or when the light dies, there's no way to replace those parts, so we will need a whole new fixture. We got 2 of these ceiling fans and love them! They are quiet, and move the air around so well! Having the included wall switch is also a huge bonus. You can't buy a fan like this with the wall switch for this price anywhere else! You will need an electrician or someone who knows how to change/install receptacles though. The wall remote is not a remote in the sense that you can hold it in your hand. It is an actual switch for the wall, so if you don't have a switch for an existing wall fan this may not work for you.
